Where the numbers are

GS and LA numbers are stamped on the frame. They do not start ZD4. The casting locations are on Identify.

Body

Rectangular headlight, analogue temperature gauge, mechanical tacho. The frame in this period is the painted-silver one.

Known weak points

• Starter freewheel and flywheel ring gear.
• Mechanical tacho drive, which the brief says is no longer available.
• SEM stator, and other discontinued 123 parts.
